graduating with honors from the University of Illinios in 1991,
Dr. Heffelfinger recived his MD degree from Rush University in Chicago
in 1995. He completed a surgical internship and ophthamology residency
at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in 1999. He then completed
a glaucoma fellowship with the glaucoma specialists of Northwestern
University School of Medicine.
Dr.
Heffelfinger joined Fox Valley Ophthalmology in July 2000. He sees
patients in our Lake in the Hills, St. Charles, and Elgin offices.
He sees both general ophthalmology and glaucoma patients in these
three offices. As a glaucoma specialist, he is committed towards
using the most advanced techniques available in his medical or surgical
treatment of glaucoma.
Dr. Heffelfinger is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology,
the Illinois State Medical Society, and the Chicago Glaucoma Society.
