Palmer-Hall graduated from Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University with High Distinction and a Contact Lens Achievement Award in 1995.

Her externships at Comprehensive Health Services of Detroit, Specialty Clinics at FSU, and the Lexington, Kentucky VAMC provided exceptional education in areas of contact lenses, urgent care, ocular disease, and pediatric and geriatric optometry. After certification by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry in the treatment and management of ocular disease Southern California College of Optometry awarded her a highly sought after residency position in primary care, geriatric, and hospital based optometry at the Sepulveda, CA VAMC. During her residency Dr. Palmer-Hall was able to further specialize in geriatric optometry and management of ocular disease. The Journal of the American Optometric Association published her submitted residency paper in 1997. Her professional career began in Oxnard , CA delivering primary eye care to the primarily Mexican-American patient population. In 2001 Dr. Palmer-Hall and her family returned to the mid-west were she continued to provide primary eye care to patients in Bartlett , IL . As a member of the American and Illinois Optometric Associations and the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Palmer-Hall is dedicated to delivering the highest quality eye care in an informative and caring manner.
