Pica is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards in
the field of optometry including: Pediatric Care Clinical
Excellence Award, Primary Care Clinical Excellence Award,
and the International Optometric Society Golden Key Award.
A published author in the Journal of Behavioral Optometry,
she also spent time studying in Spain at the University of
Madrid. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Pica has an ongoing interest
in treating patients in the Hispanic community and volunteers
a great deal of time in that area. She is particularly proud
of her experience in the area of complex contact lens fitting,
including high astigmatism, bifocal and prosthetic contact
lenses. A painter, golfer and travel enthusiast, Dr. Pica
thoroughly enjoys working with children, as well as adults.
