
Dr. Pica is the recipient of a number of awards in the field of optometry including: Pediatric Care Clinical Excellence Award, Primary Care Clinical Excellence Award, and the International Optometric Society Gold Key Award. She is a published author in the Journal of Behavioral Optometry. Dr. Pica spent time studying in Spain at the University of Madrid Complutense. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Pica has an ongoing interest in treating patients in the Hispanic community and volunteers a great deal of time in that area. She is particularly proud of her experience in the area of complex contact lens fitting, including high astigmatism, bifocal and keratoconus lenses. Dr. Pica thoroughly enjoys working with children, as well as adults. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her children, cooking and travel.
